Cloud Computing and Data Center
Cloud computing systems have become a widely adopted mean to provide access to large pools of data and computational resources to afford the flexible deployment of applications. In this paradigm, applications are stored in “the cloud,” thus reliability, availability, and performance are key aspects of concern. In our cloud computing lab, we investigate dependability and performance issues on cloud computing infrastructures using experimental testbeds, analytical and simulation modeling, encompassing the analysis of software aging effects and rejuvenation policies. The study of implementation strategies and architectures are also part of the current activities in MoDCS group.
